Application to Volunteer is open to members of the Legal Profession within NSW.

To volunteer for the 2025 Mock Trial and Mock Mediation competitions, please complete the below form and the Mock Law Coordinator will be in touch with further information in due course.

Please note that in 2025, all rounds of both competitions, apart from the Grand Final, will be conducted either in person or virtually. Volunteers may choose to participate virtually or in person, and schools will have both options. If the volunteer can only assist virtually, the schools must adhere to the volunteer's preference.

Before each round, the Mock Law Coordinator will reach out to confirm the roster of allocated Magistrates and/or Adjudicators. As trials and mediations will be taking place both in person and virtually, schools will be paired with a variety of volunteers from across NSW and not necessarily from the schools' own regional area. 

Volunteers will only be allocated in the rounds that they have indicated their availability. In the instance we do not have enough volunteers for that round, we will reach out to all volunteers to request additional help.

Law Students are not eligible to volunteer for Magistrate and Adjudicator Positions.
