Linden has been at the Law Society as an ethics solicitor for the past nine years. She provides ethics guidance to solicitors all over the state, presenting on ethics, writing on ethics and assisting the Ethics Committee. Prior to her role at the Law Society, Linden worked in-house at financial institutions and also in insurance litigation.

The Principal of Richard Harvey & Associates, a property and general practice law firm located on Sydney’s lower north shore, Richard Harvey has practiced continuously as a legal practitioner in NSW for nearly four decades.
A Councillor of The Law Society of New South Wales since 2011, Richard is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Property Law, Chair of the Property Law Committee and The Law Society of New South Wales Specialist Accreditation Board and a committee member of The Law Society of New South Wales and REI Joint Copyright Committee.
Richard has previously served on the Law Society’s Fidelity Fund Committee, Finance Committee, Conduct Committee and Diversity Committee. He has been Secretary of The North Metropolitan Regional Law Society since 2010.
Richard graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2016 and is also a non-Executive Director of Lawcover. He also regularly writes and speaks on Property Law.

Kerrie joined Lawcover in February 2013 as Chief Operations Officer with primary responsibility for leading Professional Services – Claims, Insurance Services, Underwriting and Practice Support Services. Kerrie was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 1996 and her career has spanned several Sydney law firms. She specialised in personal injury, professional indemnity and insurance litigation. In 2001, Kerrie moved from legal practice to the insurance industry, focusing on public liability, personal injury/catastrophic claims, professional indemnity and financial lines. Her insurance career has included time with AMP/GIO, QBE and MDA National. Kerrie’s broad expertise includes leading diverse teams delivering professional indemnity, advisory and risk management education services with a key focus on successful outcomes, business rigour and client value. Kerrie was appointed Chief Executive Officer effective 7 September 2020.

Bill Madden is special counsel at Carroll & O”Dea Lawyers, specialising in civil liability litigation (medical litigation and intentional torts) He also holds  accreditation as a Mediator through the Law Society of New South Wales. 
In addition to his private practice, Bill has adjunct roles at Western Sydney University (Law + Medical schools), Queensland University of Technology (Australian Centre for Health Law Research) and the University of Melbourne (Melbourne Law Masters). He is also a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law.
With Tina Cockburn, Janine McIlwraith, Ruanne Brell and Benjamin Madden, Bill is the co-author of four books - Institutional abuse of children: Legal remedies and redress in Australia (Lexis Nexis); Australian Medical Liability, 3rd edition (Lexis Nexis); Health Care & the Law, 6th edition (Thomson Reuters); The National Disability Scheme Handbook (Lexis Nexis).

During his 20 years at the NSW Bar, Richard has specialised in common law claims with special interest in medical negligence litigation. He has been a contributor to the LexisNexis Practical Guidance Online Legal Research publication and has presented at many continuing legal education seminars concerning medical negligence litigation. Richard has particular interest in novel legal claims involving wrongful birth, mental harm and patient consent.
Richard worked as a solicitor for a leading plaintiff law firm and a leading commercial firm before coming to the Bar. Richard appears in the Supreme Court and District Court of New South Wales and in coronial inquests.
Richard was recognised by the Doyles List as a recommended insurance Junior Counsel for NSW in 2019.
